Chairman’s Message

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board members of the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation (FLEF), I want to take this opportunity, to now more than ever, let our law enforcement men and women throughout the country know that we support them and are watching their backs.

FLEF extends the reach and support of law enforcement’s role amongst our agencies and throughout our local communities. As an organization we want to foster the values of good citizenship, while addressing both law enforcement and community safety concerns. As the Chairman, I will continue to stress FLEF’s philosophy, that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. A central and longstanding tenet of FLEF is to bring law enforcement agencies together in order to foster relationships and allow us to learn and grow from one another while keeping our region safe.

We are delighted that George Venizelos, former FBI Assistant Director in charge of the New York office has joined FLEF as our new Executive Director. George brings with him 28 years of Federal Law Enforcement experience and a longtime relationship with FLEF. George worked tirelessly in New York to bring law enforcement groups together, as his vision along with FLEF’s, is that united we stand stronger. We are fortunate to have a Federal Law Enforcement veteran like George on our leadership team.

FLEF historically and significantly has stepped in to provide assistance and support to law enforcement officials and their families in times of need. Every year FLEF awards numerous scholarships to the children of proud law enforcement parents, and we look forward to continuing to do so in the upcoming year.

FLEF is constantly updating and highlighting its involvement and activities on its website, so please visit the site on a regular basis to stay up to date.

Thank you for your continued support in fostering and fulfilling our foundation’s mission. We pray that you stay safe and healthy in these trying times.
